A few days ago, we recapped everything Apple announced over the course of 2018. While there were some products we were hoping for that ultimately didn’t come to fruition, 2018 was still a busy (and expensive) year for Apple fans. What was your favorite hardware release of 2018?
Yesterday, an analyst report from Nomura predicted that Apple’s 2019 iPhones will not feature any physical changes. This comes as the iPhone X design was introduced in 2017 and made its way to the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR.

What was your favorite announcement at Apple’s October event?
Apple is holding its next special event this coming week on October 30th. Following the iPhone XS and iPhone XR unveil last month, the Apple October event is expected to focus on a refreshed Mac lineup, as well as new iPad Pro models.
What are you most excited to see at the event?
After a summer of beta testing, iOS 12 was officially released to the public last week. The update brings a handful of improvements to iPhone and iPad users, and now that it has been available to the public for a while, we’re curious: what are your top iOS 12 features?
Leading up to the public release of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 yesterday, there was a lot concern about whether or not shipments would arrive on time. While much of the concern was seemingly caused by a UPS error, some people still seemingly had their pre-orders delayed this year.

It’s shaping up to be a busy end of the year for Apple, with a handful of new products still on the horizon. For many Apple fans, the remainder of this year will either be very expensive, or make for some tough decisions when it comes time to decide which new Apple product is worthy of the cash.
We’re likely less than a month away from Apple’s big unveil of its new 2018 iPhone models. While there’s a lot we know about the new devices coming this year, one key mystery is what sort of naming structure Apple plans to use this year.
A pair of recent reports indicate that this year could bring the first iPhones to offer Apple Pencil support. After the $329 2018 iPad was updated to work with the $99 accessory earlier this year, is this something you’d find useful on the 2018 5.8-inch or 6.5-inch iPhones?
We heard news this week that Apple could bring three storage tiers to the 5.8- and 6.5-inch iPhones this year, with the top end offering 512GB. While we’ve heard that the base price of the OLED models could drop this year, the addition of an iPhone X Plus along with three storage tiers could definitely boost the devices’ average selling price. This evening, Apple officially released the first public beta of iOS 12 after three weeks of developer testing. This means anyone can download and install the latest iOS version on their iPhone and iPad for free, though it’s still in beta form and does come with some bugs and annoyances.

Earlier today, Bloomberg published an extensive piece diving into why it has taken so long for Apple to release its highly-anticipated AirPower charger. The iPhone X has been available for almost exactly four months now, and that means users have had ample time to adjust to Face ID, Apple’s latest biometric technology. An interesting Reddit thread emerged this weekend where iPhone X users discussed whether or not Face ID has improved over time.

As we head into March, we could be just days away from Apple’s first new hardware releases of the year. While 2018 has already marked the release of the HomePod, Zac outlined earlier today that Apple still has quite a few new products up its sleeve for this year.
What potential new product are you most excited for this year?
HomePod is making its mark on early adopters. Earlier this week, it was discovered that Apple’s HomePod can leave a white ring on certain wood finished furniture. While it’s unclear how widespread the issue is, Apple did acknowledge it in a support document, saying that it is not unusual for “vibration-dampening silicone” to leave marks.

KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo released a new report yesterday breaking down what we can expect with the iPhone lineup in 2018. Kuo explained that Apple will add a new 6.5-inch OLED iPhone and a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone to its product mix in 2018 – both with the bezel-less iPhone X design.
