Apple today officially confirmed Apple TV+ pricing and availability, saying the service will launch on November 1 for $4.99. Apple is also offering a free year of Apple TV+ with hardware purchases.
During its September iPhone event today, Apple has announced the successor to its 2018 9.7-inch iPad, the new 10.2-inch iPad.
After extensively teasing its premium video streaming service during its March event this year, Apple has officially announced launch and pricing details for Apple TV+. The new service will feature the exclusive, original content that Apple has been developing over the last couple of years.
Apple today announced that its Apple Arcade video game subscription service is launching later this month, alongside iOS 13. Arcade games span Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and Mac. For mobile platforms, all titles are exclusive to Apple Arcade and not available through the regular App Store.
Apple is launching Apple Arcade on September 19, and it is priced at $4.99 per month. This includes up to six members in your family. You can try Apple Arcade with a one-month free trial.
As is tradition, the Apple Store is down ahead of today’s Apple event.
Apple is expected to announce a trio of new models; the iPhone 11, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro Max flagship phones for the holiday season. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
At its Services focused “It’s show time” event at Steve Jobs Theater today, Apple shared that it is expanding its TV app bringing it to the Mac and even further with deals with Roku, and Amazon.
On stage during its “It’s Show Time” event, Apple announced a partnership with Goldman Sachs to introduce its own credit card, integrated with the Wallet app. We first heard about this project on a report from WSJ in late February, we also found evidence in code from an iOS 12.2 beta.
Along with the launch of the new iPad Pros today, we’re getting more details about aspects like iPad Pro replacement costs. As these are the most expensive iPads to date, they also carry the saltiest replacement fees with accidental damage costing up to $650 for those without AppleCare+.
After announcing the new 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, Apple has made its new Smart Keyboard Folio, Smart Folio, and a new USB-C to SD Card reader available for pre-order.
Apple has just unveiled a new Mac mini at its October media event. In a space grey finish, every Mac mini now starts with quad-core CPU configurations. Apple will also offer six-core models for the first time. The new Mac mini can include up to 64 GB RAM, and all models feature solid state drives.
The Mac mini starts at $799, with various build-to-order upgrade options. Orders start today, with first deliveries from November 7.

Apple is holding their special event at the Steve Jobs Theater today. Besides announcing a new Apple Watch and new iPhones, beta testers of iOS 12 are going to be getting the golden master build later today. This build is probably the final build of iOS 12 that’s going to ship to customers probably right before the new iPhones start shipping, unless there’s some serious issue with it.
Apple’s WWDC keynote just ended, announcing with some exciting new features on all of its major platforms. With the keynote, Apple released two videos that resonate with developers. These videos are now available on YouTube.

Today’s event held at Lane Tech College in Chicago was a little different in that there was no live stream available, unlike most recent Apple events. Apple announced the video would be available after it concluded.

Apple has today announced several new software features for educators and students. The company is introducing a new Schoolwork app and bringing its Classroom app to the Mac, as well as a new ClassKit API. Apple says the ClassKit framework will be available in iOS 11.4.
Apple has shared during its education event in Chicago today that student accounts through schools will now get 200GB of iCloud storage for free.
Apple has started some temporary construction works at the Lane Technical College Prep High School ahead of its education focused event on Tuesday, March 27. Apple appears to be setting up some kind of stage/demo area outside the main school buildings.

Apple’s iPhone X event has come and gone, but the company took to the stage at Steve Jobs Theater to introduce a slew of new technologies that will hit the consumer market later this year, and even some into the next. With three new iPhones available this fall, a new Apple Watch, and a 4K Apple TV, we just have to ask ourselves: what exactly will I be buying from Apple’s event this year?
Today following Apple’s introduction of the new iPhone X alongside the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, we got some hands-on time with the device and gleaned a few details you didn’t see on stage.
Apple today officially took the wraps off of its all-new iPhone X, and as we expected, it’s the company’s most expensive iPhone to date. At full price, the iPhone X costs $999 for 64GB and $1149 for 256GB.
Many carriers, however, have moved away from subsidized and outright pricing models, focusing instead installment programs. Needless to say, these programs make the price of the iPhone X slightly less intimidating…
Update: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have all announced $10/month plans with an initial three months of free service.
Today’s announcement of the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular support included details on how the device will function with wireless carrier plans. Apple mentioned that the phone number from the iPhone will remain the same and be usable on the Watch.
There is one obvious caveat though: to get the cellular functionality of your Watch, you may be required to pay an additional fee to your carrier. Only AT&T and Verizon have officially announced their price points as of today, but we’re expecting to learn more from other carriers soon.
