The company says it will expand its “Suggested Posts” feature such that you’ll now see suggested posts directly in your primary feed of the app. That is, Suggested Posts will appear inter-mixed, and in some cases above, posts from people you actually follow.

Apple rolling out new firmware version for AirTag item trackers

Apple is rolling out an updated version of the 1.0.276 firmware it rolled out to AirTags three weeks ago. This update likely makes further improvements to the anti-stalking features Apple announced earlier this month.

Apple announced AirTag firmware version 1.0.276 on June 3 with new anti-stalking features. The original version of the firmware featured build number 1A276d, and today’s new release features build number 1A287b.

App Store mess could have been avoided

Apple is currently busy trying to extricate itself from an App Store mess. It’s making calls, writing letters, publishing white papers, and conducting interviews, all in an attempt to reverse the antitrust tide.

Some of the moves it is making frankly signal desperation, and it’s astonishing to me that the company missed an opportunity to enjoy a PR dream instead of its current defensive nightmare.

It’s not like Apple couldn’t see this coming – it had internal discussions about the issue a full decade ago …
