Foot in mouth again...Apple Enterprise Sales ARE seeing some layoffs

We're not sure how many are affected or across how many parts of the business this goes, but Apple is doing layoffs, at least in Apple Enterprise Sales.  We've got two separate reports that a few heads (50?) are rolling.

It doesn't look like Apple is entirely immune to the economic downturn.

This was first reported by Vallywag yesterday and confirmed today.  However, SAI talked to Apple PR who've recently been accused of having "issues with the truth" who denied everything.  Whether Apple chooses to call these "layoffs" or "downsizing" or whatever, a few people are now jobless. :(

Tell that to the people who've lost their jobs

Apple says they haven't lost their jobs

Is that like store clerks at the apple store?

No one lost a job. Some people were moved from one position to another. Apple didn't report anything (as of the time of this post) to the state about job cuts.

because you know this as you read this site and mac rumours...take your head out from your arse and wake up to the real world's economic crisis.

of course apple are making cuts and there will be more...stop living in yoru dream world

douche

Wouldn't of company of Apple's size turn over 50 employees per day.... someone is passing the FUD.... give me a break.

separate not seperate!

If the apple enterprise reps in question are as uselessly unhelpful as the ones in my area then maybe a little restructuring wouldn't hurt

Take it for what it's worth.

Our enterprise rep gone and "no longer with Apple" when I tried to contact yesterday.
